I don’t know if all flywheels are alike but, when I recently took off my crank nut, I went underneath to jam some wood wedges to lock the flywheel in place. I noticed some holes drilled into the edge of the flywheel I assume for balancing. Well, a 7/16” x 6” long hex bolt with the head cut off fit just right and locked the flywheel against the bellhousing.
If you want to get the rest of that air pump check valve off the air rail, get a torch set and make that hex collar glow to get it off. Wouldn’t hurt to warm up the fittings on the nozzles before giving them a twist.
