If there is a thread about this I apologize but I can not find it I have been looking for a while but also am not an expert on navigating this site. I've seen similar ones but cant find one for the specific problem.

Been trying to get a 94 FZJ80 started for a couple weeks now after doing a rebuild. It cranks and sounds great but has nothing coming out of the coil. Its a good coil, its new and tested resistance it was same as the old one which also seemed good. New ICM and fusible link also. Double checked and cleaned all the grounds too. I'm not an expert mechanic but I cant think of anything else in the ignition system that hasn't been replaced other than the distributor itself that would cause no spark, but it tested good also. Everything has power and I tested that wires are not broken between igniter/ECU/ICM/Distributor. I thought the bulb for the CEL was burnt out so today I swapped it with another good bulb and it still didn't work. I was messing around testing other random sensors and found out that the CEL works with key on and I can read codes as long as the MAF is unplugged. If I plug it back in the CEL no longer lights up when I turn the key on. Could the MAF be causing all of this for some reason? Everything I've seen says it should still start without the MAF unplugged but I'm just not really sure where to go from here.

Someone removed the 2 phillips screws on the AFM housing trying to get the connector off and screwed the pooch. Likely torn wires off the solder traces internal to the AFM.
Many many many threads regarding this.
With the AFM unplugged and the CEL illuminated, the engine should fire briefly then die as the flap in the AFM runs the fuel pump once you release the key from the start position.
The engine will not fire without the CEL illuminated with the key in the ON position before cranking the starter. NO CEL=NO START

You were right I was able to open up the AFM and there was a solder connection broken, Was able to get it to run with fixing it.
