This isn't the place to find anyone to tell you not to. 
There are a few things I’m looking at. There is an 82 pickup I really want badly. Patina is out of control cool….cool factor 10/10. Video the guy sent me has the 22R firing right up…0 issues. The frame and engine bay are really clean. New tranny, clutch, break booster. Inside isn’t terrible. Needs a few trim pieces. Nothing supernatural. Just preserve the patina and upgrade tastefully. He said the only thing it really could use other than some love on the inside is some rear brake shoes. I like it a lot. It’s at the TOP of my budget. Like tippy top because I want some room to fix up some stuff on what I get. Shipping dips into the budget too. 2nd owner. I just can’t make up my mind on anything. I keep waffling on an older PU, someone I know has an 89 4Runner with SAS they would sell me… it’s a cool rig too, or do I want a cheaper 1st gen and do everything myself….decision paralysis. A 55 will always get my attention though. Haha.
