Cowl Vent Lever Question (1 Viewer)

I'm in the process of putting my 1967 FJ45 together. It was missing many parts when I bought it, so it's like putting a jigsaw puzzle together without all the pieces.
I don't see a mount under the dash for the cowl vent lever. A previous owner might have cut the mount off, but I don't think so... After looking around the site, I don't see any pre 1969 FJ40/45's with the lever. Am I missing something? Here is a picture under my dash showing no mount, and a picture of my 1969 FST with the mount and pull lever.

I don't know if you are supposed to have it or not, but I am pulling that linkage and all of it out of mine this summer. Not gonna be using it, if you're interested.

Here are a couple pictures of what I believe to be a 1967 FJ40 (red) and 1965 FJ45 (green). Neither have the vent pull that I can see?
