Cowichan Lake to Bamfield

Whats the route you recommend and how long would it take? Would anyone recommend a Honda Civic be able to do this drive?
Thinking of June 1. It's for my brother.
Not the long way around. Doesn’t want to drive all around through Pt Alberni.

Last time I did it was pretty easy and civilized.
Straight through youbou, hang a right at the big nitinat/carmanah junction and drive till you hit sign to turn left for Bamfield.

Middle bit was even paved.


As long as his tires aren't s*** I imagine it'd be fine.
