Inspiration:
Rodan and Fields. You get to a certain level and they lease one for ya fo free. My wife did same thing but I just paid for lots of eye cream and I bought her the Land Cruiser.
My wife was at the top of it but u gotta do something.
Just another day at the office. That's 2-1/16" anchor chain on a windlass we were pull testing and a size 13 boot for reference. By the way, I'm still looking for a Mech and Electrical Engineer.
Did it pass or did you break it in spectacular fashion?
Yes, it passed. Pulled 80,000# up to stall on our HPU. Breaking strength of that chain is 482,000#. The windlass is designed for 217,000#. Personally, I never want to witness a failure at those loads. By the time you hear the pop it's too late.

Fontana Dam just up river from there is bigger than that one, but not nearly as cool looking. The Cheoah dam always looked like to me they just put some concrete forms up then layered concrete into them.......very unusual looking construction
