I'm searching hard for a backyard like that. Here they are either very rare or very, very 'spensive. Most times both.

That's my camp house, been in the family 100 years. Made a supply run down there today, next weekend is mine and my buddies annual hunt (drunk). Really wish I could spend more time down there.

Thx. It's one of just a few in holdings in the middle of the Tensas National Wildlife Refuge between Delhi and Vicksburg. Right smack dab in the middle of 75,000 acres. When the Feds took all that land for the refuge the family had to fight to keep the 100 acres around the camp (made us sell thousands).

It's as remote as it gets. Several miles in on the ranger. I electrified it last year, compete wiring with generator power. Plumbing is next year...have a well, just need to do the finish work and sewer.

My great grandfather built it in the early 1900s. It's my turn to take care of it now.
