Found Little Bit aka Pig 1 in the road under the powerline tonight.

Looks like she finally ran out of lived.

Buzz and I buried her under a tree tonight. Pig got the last laugh dying after a 2 month drought. I about killed myself digging her hole.

RIP Pig 1. Thanks for the memories.

No, that was Pig 2. He and I found her tonight. So sad. Our first family puppy. That is a picture of the one that was at the Crawl at her grave tonight. He knows. He is completely not the same tonight.

Sorry man.

Little Bit was our first family pet. Berkley was 7 and Will was 5 when she came into our life.

When we went to pick her up, the breeder almost would not let us take her because she was such a runt and was always choking on her food. Of course, we fell in love with her and the rest is history.

I was just telling a group of friends on Wednesday about the crazy life of Pig. She lived and amazing life that would have killed any other animal, but Pig lived on.

She was kidnapped twice, lost and found only to escape Houdini style in downtown Canton, she was kicked by a horse and broke her leg, she was run over by my brother-in-law's truck and survived unscathed and she was recently eaten my some large animal and was left with a fist size hole in her chest.

Turns out Boston Terriers only have 7 lives because tonight while Pig 2 and I were out riding the farm, Little Bit met her match on the gravel road in front of my shop.

Pig got the last laugh though. After 2 months of drought I had to bury her in the concrete hard ground next to our house. The kids wrote her notes and placed them on her tiny coffin while Pig 2 stood watch.

Rest in Peace Pig. You broght great joy to many people. Your stories will live on forever.

I'll be adding photos to this album from The Cronicles of Pig and re-tell some of these hilarious stories. Stay tuned and celebrate her awesome 7 lives.

Sorry to hear Nolan. family Pets moving on always hurts. I guess it's because we love them and because of the great memories of kids being younger, parents and grandparents that have gone to heaven ahead of us.

Post up those memories!! Good therapy.

Adding our thoughts and prayers for Pig and her family. It sounds like she gave great fun and warmth to those who cared for her. The term "pet parents" may have started as an ad line, but rings so very true for many of us. She's just gone on ahead. Our former rector, John Sewell, once wrote in response to the loss of a pet, affirming that he feared his lap might not be expansive enough to hold all of the animals who would be waiting to greet him one day.

Great Pyrennes. Pic doesnt show his size. Can pull 300 lb sled.
