I'm at the station today right on 287 if anyone is headed through. West side of Wichita Falls, City View exit. Station is right there West bound side and all. Tomorrow I'll be around, house is an easy off and within sight of 287 in Iowa Park. If anyone needs anything or any help on the road let me know. I got access to an awesome little fab shop!! Fireman 940-six three one-9505!

Just a bit of schedule adjustment

All of this is optional, if you don't want to go on one of these runs, grab a buddy and a Guidebook and strike out on your own.

Looks like a lot of us will be in early for Sunday so we should be able to go out fairly early....probably after everyone makes a grocery run and grabs some lunch.

Sunday.....Hell's Revenge. Short, SUPER fun trail with bypasses around all the silly stuff. I can't think of a better way to break a person in for Moab. Georg and crew are cooking dinner this night, so it will be good to get back fairly early. Hell's revenge can be short or long, depending on pace. We will take it slow and hopefully others can come out and find us.

Monday - Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike, Gold Bar Rim. For those that are on this run that want a little more at the end of the day, you can split off and run Rusty Nail. This trail will turn off Gold Bar Rim and loop back to Golden Spike at the crack. This is a long rough day without the Rusty Nail part, so plan on it. It is a great way to start Moab. You will see it all on this run.

Tuesday - Elephant Hill. We moved this up so Stacy could go on it. Great day for sure. One of my favorite trails in Moab. It is in the National Park. This is an all-day event. Plan on towing down if you are driving a 40. It is about 65 miles from the KOA to the trailhead. The trail is a 15 mile 4 hour round trip so we won't be as tired from the trail. The drive to and from is not bad. We can stop at The Hole in the Wall on the way back and do the tourist thing.

Wednesday - Cliff Hanger. The only hard part is on the way back out and it can be winched easily. (you go back out the way you go in)
Head up to Arches National Park in the tow rigs and check it out. Evening run to Moab Rim. This way the kids and passengers can opt out on some riding and hit the town or the pool.

Thursday - Behind the Rocks. Long day. Fun Day. We will be able to make it through without a problem with our group. Straps on the backs of the rigs at White Knuckle Hill. Sand Dunes for those inclined to play on the way out. The gravel road out is 15 miles long and sucks IMO but it is part of it.

Friday - Porcupine Rim and Fins and Things. We will head up to the Sand Flats Area and play on these two trails as time allots. Most of us are leaving on Friday. These are quick and fun with bail outs all along the way if we get short on time. Close to town so our passengers can stay or go.

Action packed week.

When is everyone arriving? I plan on being in Moab by 10:00 on Sunday or earlier.

Y'all be carefull and feel free to call me if you run into trouble on the way east of Clinton.

You probably don't want to hear this now as you are possibly on the road or about to get on the road, but I think one strap on the back of a 7000# truck is a bit underkill.

I am all about overstrapping, especially in the back. I was rear-ended one time and had crap straps on my 4 wheeler and it ended up in the tailgate of my 4 Runner.

First casualty of the day
Trailer wire was hitting the ground .

Just redid it too
