I recently bought a 99 lc 100 series from Copart and they cut the cats off and Toyota wants $ 2,500 each and I’m trying to avoid that bill for now. Will I run into any problems driving it without cats. I have no emission standards here. Do I have any options like just put an exhaust on. But also avoid throwing codes not throw codes? P.S. it sounds amazing rn

There are cat delete pipes that allow you to still use the front O2 sensors. That would take care of the check engine light and let you enjoy the "amazing" sounds

Appreciate it and I’ll probably be the only one on the street who thinks it’s amazing
