Getting to pull the intake and redo some other things. (on my 84 Runner)

First I got to pull the timing cover and redo it cause its got a slow leak:rolleyes:

Then pull the intake to prepare for the Webber. I am mostly demogged now and I was wondering about the cooling line running from the back side of the timing cover going to the bottom of the intake area....is that actually going to the intake or is that going to a cooler. I just cant tell.

Also the EGR... this is getting to the point I would really like to ditch the EGR if possible? Wristy what did you say to do if you did? The damn thing is non- functing anyway.

While I am there I will be doing all the engine gaskets AGAIN( not the headgasket) just because I like the punishment:flipoff2:

Thats why I tossed in 38/38 I thought it might even though I got bigger cy., cam etc.

In your opinion what is a good size carb.? I want a little bigger than stock and I will still go with Webber.

You don't want a 38/38 on a 22R it's way too much carb.

As for your question, I don't do carbs! :flipoff2:

I think that coolant line is to tell something when the truck is warm to drop the idle maybe?
