I have checked everything and i cant seem to find a leak(95 4runner V6 3.0L) I find a puddle of coolant underneath my car every morning. It only leaks overnight. I have checked right after im done driving and I still cant find any leak. Any help will be apperciated.

Left, right, front, back of engine? There are a lot of coolant connections on that engine... Get a mirror and check at the very back of the engine over the bell housing, there is a coolant manifold there that can leak, and it has a lot of connections in and out etc...

Quick question..where are you at? I know others who've had the same thing happen including me, let me explain..

Note: After a certain time/date Toyota ceased the open recall that should have included all of the 1995 3.0l blocks. If it becomes what I describe and you decide to repair it (Around $1600 in parts/labor) and if the gaskets have not been previously replaced you can have an authorized Toyota dealership or shop replace the gaskets and the submit the evidence to Toyota Corporate for reimbursement or more. There's a specific bit of information on factory gaskets that are not duplicatable in replacement parts.

I had the same issue at around 120k after I was traveling at freeway speeds in the middle of the summer with an automatic trans and a load of 800lbs of gear.

The first time the dealership claimed it was the water neck/pulley assembly leaking out the back of the piece.

Then what you're describing happened. I finally took it back but Toyota declined to cooperate and warranty the original headgasket. So I took it to a really good mechanic/shop local to me.

It took two tries b/c I got impatient and thought the dealership was going to take care of me and pulled it from them for repairs.

I grabbed a friends boroscope and laying underneath the vehicle I snaked the boboscope up under the opening in the back of the block between the plenum and the steel baffle shield (it's gold zinc coated).

When the intake plenum was pulled we found coolant seeping into the center galley on the top of the block past the headgaskets. We also found weeping along the headgasket edges on the outside of the block just under the exhaust manifolds.

My pics are somewhere, let me see if I can find them and help a little more with a visual.

I looked and looked but apparently the pics are not backed up on my old drive. All you have to do is like I described, use a boroscope or pull the plenum off to look under the plenum in the valley for puddling coolant and that will verify things.
