Greg, I think the above is true. It's amazing that such a small band of liberal idiots have such a loud voice. Illogical is the fact that we have the world's strongest, most technologically advanced military, yet we can't close down and stop the flow of illegals and drugs flowing across our border. I use this as an example because most everyone on here can relate to that and probably has an opinion one way or the other.
Now our MEDIA reports about the ABUSE of these illegals when our border patrol/military put them in hand cuffs to SAFELY RETURN them to their country after free medical care, and hot chow....I fail to see how that is inhumane....they are hand cuffed because some are dangers criminals and drug runners.....families seeking a better life (got it) BUT our border patrol guys have a RIGHT to protect themselves while attempting to control the flow north of half of south america. The mainstream media will take the issue and instead of depicting the unbiased wholistic picture...interview a family and why they want in, interview agents and what their life is like daily, etc........they rant and rave about the billions spent on illegals, but DON'T explain that it is because the liberal politicians THINK EVERYONE has a right to MY (and your) tax dollars (free ER visits, social security, government hand outs) while not contributing as legal residence of my USA
The mainstream Media does truly think a turd can be picked up by the clean end......it has become ass backwards and illogical for many reasons. Our media became completely and totally corrupt about 15-20 years ago when large corporations became the parent companies of the various major broadcasters. (thus pushing that companies biased views and opinions.....for the bottom line of course) Fox, CNN, etc. ALL have agendas you just have to pick your flavor of how far left or right you want to go.
News used to be judged by the "If it bleeds, it leads" principle which dictated that IMPORTANT political, social, and economic tidbits would be broadcast for the general public to be aware of and HOPEFULLY take action on, voice opinions on, and VOTE on.....now we are all concerned (because the news tells us to) with what to consum, why it will give us cancer, and what Brittney Spears and Mariah Carey are doing today.
