I've heard this before, but my 80 DEFINITELY runs better on premium. Only car I've ever had where I could feel the difference (smoother and more "power" - a relative term when referring to an 80)

Mine does too and I've been "treating it" with the good stuff since 93 dropped below $3. I get knocking when I run 87, but I'm told that the knock sensors will adjust fuel/air ratios and will eventually stop knocking.
Drive it till it breaks. Buy once as needed. Now if I was doing an engine job or a HG on a 1FZ-FE, I would absolutely install a new OEM T.RAD factory radiator. Not doing so would be like taking a shower and putting dirty shorts back on.
All advice I've gotten on my 1GR-FE has been the same, regarding water pump, timing chain and radiator. Counterintuitive to my OCD ways.

That's an old plane. If there are 2 parachutes it was a trainer.
That altitude (low) makes me think it flamed out.
Must have had a bad landing to have killed a pilot. I saw 2 good parachutes.
