If I remember right, this was a trail connecting the Red Canyon and Blue Notch Canyon. Much of it is spent below the (past) waterline of Lake Powell. The later part of this is a few hours of driving in a dry wash. Super cool. We followed the GPS tracks of a previous year's trip. This is almost mandatory for many of these trails.

This was a short trip into Arch Canyon. We went in during the afternoon, camped at the turn-around and came out the next morning. Absolutely beautiful.

I got my LG TVs......all good. Thank you for the advice.

Next question:

I have to turn the damn thing up to 100% to hear it. Yes I'm deaf but Red also agrees.

I keep seeing these sound bars at Sam's. Most are around 40". Some with Subs. Some without.

What do I need to buy? I'd rather go cheap on this. Not a Bose or anything.

If you use the optical/digital cable to connect the TV to a sound bar or other stereo system, make sure the TV audio settings are correct (dig down into menu settings). I just did this for my mom's TV and had to change the output mode to PCM from something else in order to get it to push sound to the stereo system.

@Bomar is right. Big room will require sound bar or similar with most all ultra thin TVs. They throw sound out the back and let it bounce off the wall to the viewer.

Yes any decent name brand should be fine. If the tv is wall mounted then u might have some wire cleanup. If the bar is Bluetooth make sure the TV supports that connection.

I've got the itch to go somewhere where i can drive/camp/drive/camp... more of a trip with primitive camping stops than a full on organized event or ride. The moab 3 day run sounds appealing because i know 2 of the guys leading it and it's on 14 trucks. But that's a LOOONG drive.

Anybody have the ability or want to plot out something similar in northern Ark before it gets hot? 2-3 days driving, 2 nights camping (not at campgrounds). I would love to do something like this, maybe take my daughter. I know my buddy Ryan from here that went to CO and SCC last year would go as well.
