There used to be a group from expo portal that did these trips. Bossman, Bomar and myself did one. It was ok but was a little TOOO big or too large a crowd. I have never understood why CLC did not put together their own trips but it was fun but could of been funner.
I have been on some great day trips in the Ozarks and Ouachitas.

Bomar, Since you and I are local we need to borrow/steal Tisa's 100 with extended range gas tanks and spend about a day and a half scouting a route that starts in HS and loops back. Let me know when you can break away.
