The new XV crosstrek...is badass smaller sporter but the new Forrester is super sweet...tons of room. Outback is good also. Well made cars....like the landcruiser of cars.
Look in DFW area for cars...i think the savings would be worth the drive. I am amazed how different car business here is vs other areas. All about volume....turn and burn
I like the xv as well but have read several article all say go with a Outback, dont pay for the extra. Love the Subaru stuff.

1500 miles on my car since Monday. I played with fuel every tank switching from 93 (recommended) to 89

Overall average running 78 mph it got 30.8 mpg with the best tank was running 89 octane at 33 mpg.

Sold my 100 and bought a camry and 40

I rolled 127k today on my camry

I bought the car in August. let's call it 130k at ownership of one year.

It had 93k when I bought it.

That's 37,000 miles per year. I plan to drive it for atleast 4 more years. That will be an additional 148k miles for a total of 278k miles.

Gas is currently $3.32 on average for the state today.

The camry gets 31 mpg at an average speed of 74 miles per hour for 2 hours a day. (1 hour each way to work/home).

A tank holds 18.5 gallons. at $3.32 per gallon that's $61.42 per tank. I burn a tank a week.

That means over the next 4 years I will spend roughly $12, 775 on buying 3, 848 tanks

Sheesh.....
