Has anyone used this, and what are your thoughts? I am just putting in bucket seats into my 69, and am leaning toward the CCOT one as opposed to Tuffy.

I posted the same up in the tech thread, and got an education. The CCOT product is a cheaply made knock-off and has serious security issues. Buying a Tuffy.

i have the Tuffy and it works great. Test fit everything before you bolt it down.....easy to end up with a shifter that wont get all the way into second gear.

Did you get the Tuffy install brackets for the 40?

It was installed already when I bought it but I do believe there are brackets that connect to the seat brackets....I will check and see if I have some pics from when I painted. You can also come over and check it out.

This was my experience with every after market item I bought from them.
