Due to some unexpected financial circumstances, I may need to sell my FJ Cruiser. I'm not in a rush and am primarily looking for feedback from the community on what a fair asking price would be. I know what it's worth, I'm just testing the waters.

Vehicle Information

  • 2nd owner overall / 1st U.S. owner
  • Imported from Japan (ownership history can be traced to the original owner)
  • 2011, 4x4, Automatic Transmission
  • Approximately 69,XXX original miles
  • Clean title
  • BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain tires (just over 1 year old, excellent condition)

Modifications & Accessories

  • Aftermarket front bumper
  • Aftermarket fog lights
  • Front Runner roof rack
  • Front Runner custom RTT quick-release mounts
  • Tepui Kukenam Sky 3 rooftop tent
  • Free Spirit Recreation 270° awning
  • Front Runner awning mounts
  • Custom aftermarket stereo
  • Black MAXTRAX recovery boards (brand new, never used)
  • Front Runner MAXTRAX mounting system
  • Side steps

Condition

  • Seats are in excellent condition
  • Normal cargo area wear consistent with use
  • Small dent on the driver's door
  • Minor rear body dent that should be repairable with paintless dent removal
  • Clear seal peeling on front hood
  • Mechanically solid and well-maintained
I'd appreciate any thoughts on value in today's market. Thanks for taking a look.

Photos, L->R, show the progression from how the FJ looked when I first purchased it to what I've done to it since then.

I’ll give you a thousand dollars! Today! Cash!

Just kidding.

The FJ looks really sharp! I’ve never considered selling mine so not too in tune with market. But if I was guessing, I’d say high teens to low 20s? Market isn’t what it used to be. But, I may be completely wrong too!
Either way, I hate to see another one being sold. ALL of my AZFJ friends have since moved on. I’m the only one left.

I hear you, I'm looking at it from my office window now and trying to figure out how to make it work to keep it! lol, appreciate the words, I don't want to let it go but at the end of the day if I have to, I have to.

I would ask 30-35. It is clean and extremely low mileage. That is what I would want for my 2007 with 112,000 miles. These are now in Classic Territory and very hard to find.

I would think the low 30's. My brother just bought about 8,000 more miles, the same color and nicer condition for 30,000 at a local to him dealership. He is the second owner . Also when you say imported from Japan which all FJ's are, I am looking to see if it is JDM. It makes the ad confusing. I would see if PDR could remove the dents and consider selling it without the tent and extras. They limit your buyer choices. Also have it detailed for the pics and consider selling it on BAT. It may do really well.
