I never did a SR. I don't believe that they are necessary at all.

However, just cutting off the old shackle hangers and drilling a hole in hte frame ALA woody's SR article is the best idea.

Personaly, I think you are nuts to want to go as high as you are thinking. I am a firm believer in low with big tires..

I honestly don't think I'll be nearly that high once the add-a-leafs settle. And if I end up not going with MAF's SR kit, I'll find a way to keep it from lifting up the front end too much. If I can work it so the front end's height stays the same, I'll do that. I figure once it's all done it'll be about the height of an SOA with new stock springs.
