Had a wonderful evening catching up with Smitty and his lovely wife Candice. Mo, Dave and I made it. One cruiser - mine. Dave did bring that yellow thing he mentioned above...can't bring myself to type it.

Thats good to hear. I really wanted to make it since it would be nice to see old faces again. But last minute sitter and school tomorrow for the kids would have made it tough to get back to Santa Clarita on a good time. We took a picture in front of a Chick fil a this afternoon near my house just for him to remember the good ol days when he was still here in SoCal.

Only one Cruiser? What happened to Mo's 80. I remember his 80 was one of the baddest in the SC80s group.

Oh well there will always be a next time since the end of the world did not happen yesterday.

Hey Smitty, unfortunately I did not find someone to watch my kids today. So the next best thing is to say "Hello and see you next time!"

In front of a place you know too well! Yeah, I know its close on Sundays - got prime parking space! My other kid is taking the pic.

JAFW80, I missed you and your truck. Candice did reference riding the dunes at Pismo in your blown 80. She acknowledges that a SC would be nice, BUT she prefers that I do a Toyota diesel swap when this motor tires...I am not going to argue with her on this one

Brent it was awesome that you could make it. Your truck looks fantastic and I think that you helped me add the new leather to the list of mods as well. I really look forward to getting back on the trails with you again.

Mo and Dave, it really was cool to sit and have a relaxing dinner with you guys too. This whole event was certainly one the highlights of my trip. I really do miss all you guys a lot and am going to make it a priority to get back out there again soon. I had such strong emotions (positive) about being back in Cali and seeing some SoCal 80's brothers. You guys rock and I really need to make it a point to get back out there at least once a year (with some trail time included). Thank you all again for the life long friendships even though I am now 2500 miles away. I want to start planning the next trip ASAP!
