Well it was a great trip, saw very few cruisers, few 70s 80s 40s and one FJ45...only grabbed a few pictures as they drove by.. One guy in a FJ43 was passing and all of us were giving him a thumbs up, he decided to pass us a some fruit while driving..

Overall great trip and my favourite although friggin hottest destination was Leticia on the Amazon River, we bordered Peru and Brazil.. We went by water to some very cool spots with no roads in or out, the river was the only transportation for these folks..

One of three days touring Leticia was in a newly reclaimed farm 7 years earlier and is now a park with all of the indigenous plants of that area..I cannot believe how many plants they grow that treat so many of our ailments. At the end we had a natural tea with its own built in sweetener and a hint of Coca. It was mentioned that its medicinal qualities were similar to a upper and downer....

Almost all the local foods were exellent even the fried ants, blood sausage was a little off..in the smaller villages they often cooked most things in banana leaves, so darn good.

Thought the cruiser sinking into the ground was a cruiser, turns out its not at a closer look..pretty much rust free for a couple hundred bucks.

Yes it is very popular every where I went..

Looks like a good trip, I thought you went to the tropics to get away from winter, not just
get back in time for winter?

I actually looked forward to getting home to cooler weather....you in town?

They had a bottle at every table at the wedding which is why we were in Colombia...Damn those people can party..

sounds like a good time, I've never been but used to live nearby to that country, maybe sometime.

It sounds like you had a good experience there, which is great to help re-frame that country's history and worldwide perception.
