looking for personal reviews on these guys mattresses for my RTT. I h8 the mattress that came with my tent and want something firmer with springs. I personally like a firm spring coiled mattress and these seem to fit the bill. I called and it sounds like it is roughly 200-300 bucks for a mattress. They are local too so that is a plus.

Anatomy of a Coastline Mattress

I would say the cheap foam mattress that came in my CVT RTT was more "firm" than the Coastline but significantly less comfortable to me. The Coastline, although "softer", provides better support and is way more comfy. Firm has different meaning to different people. I use a Tempurpedic at home and, to me, it's firmer than a coil spring and more comfortable. I took a shot assuming that whatever I got would be an upgrade to the cheap foam and am happy I did. Since you're local, give 'em a call and go lie down on one.

A lot of people actually did test it out at the Off Road Expo last weekend. In the past people seemed to have been a bit shy about it but I think for the upcoming events we will have a standard bed height platform.. The ladies pictured are testing a Grande. Also, UPS met with me again last week as we try to find a solution to the expensive shipping cost for the RTT mattresses.
Both FedEx and UPS use a dimensional "weight" factor whereby they penalize large boxes regardless of the pounds. Two boxes that are the same size combined as a "dimensional weight" box costs way less, even though the larger might weigh less.
