New Year's resolutions time people! Now repeat this mantra after me: I resolve to participate in more wheeling events in 2007; I resolve to attend the Jan 11 CC meeting; I resolve to get my act together to make the January Clear Creek Run event; I resolve to get my 2007 club dues paid next month; I resolve to make Cruiser Days 2007 the best yet by actively advertising and shamelessly promoting it; and last but not least, I resolve fur shur, without fail, to get my Ham radio licence in 2007. Now, have a cup of coffee and go back to bed you sorry sight! :grinpimp:

while not a CC member I resolve to get down to cruiser days and meet some of yiou guys/gals..... It's been too long, and I'm only 1300 kms away...

Happy resolutions Coastal cruisers.....

Thanks, I'll have to remember that second thursdays stuff. You never know I might end up there sometime :)'

I'm just soo far away. But my wife wants to go back to Van for some shopping.

She used to live in Van, I worked in the Harbour(Coal Harbour) once and awhile. So eventually I have to tour around again.

I resolve to finish my darn rebuild project so I can take it places. I am so damm lazy with it....... It just takes soo much work to rebuild a truck..

Hey Mat, why don't you try something easy like, quite smoking. ;)
You want me to quite smoking, that's a new one. Unless you mean quit?! Every time I try my friends tell me to go back to it 'cause I become too much of a as&hole. Me?! really?! :D Besides, nobody likes a quitter !

Hey Bill, were you the old guy I saw walking on the beach at Ko Samet wearing nothing but a g-string bikini in 2003?

Bill no offense but that is not a pretty image:D

Welcome, once you get past the friendly insults it is actually very useful.

Mat:
If you'r going to Phuket, Thailand, that's my old stomping ground. I can tell you the best beaches.

Thanks but this time I am going to Krabi and Ko Chang, for the South areas. The rest of the trip I will spend in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, Norther areas and Cambodia.

Well I'm not suprised that you noticed my massive g-string but you missed those two gorgeous babes hanging on to my arms, and they were not just helping me walk either! Actually, I was recovering from a hectic week of Tan-trick sex and had to be carried in.
In any case, you have to be very careful about the transvestites. They are done up so that its pretty hard to tell until much later in the game. I had one buddy came down and got drunk the first night he was down there in Rawaii Beach. He hung around a bar on the beach that was frequented by those creatures. Anyway, I warned him that they were trannies but he disregarded my warnings. Well they rolled him on the beach and took everything he had. I ran into him a few days later and he looked terrible. He was on his way to the police station (God knows why?) to report the incident and try to get papers or something because he had no money and no passport left. My advice is to stay sober and keep your wits about you because even though its a great place, it can be very dangerous. There is a whole underground industry that prays on careless tourists.
Have a good one, this is the best time of year to be in Thailand.
~Bill

How about these two?? I can deal with these!
Where exactly is Steve's new shop (meeting location)? I know where the old shop/house is but I've never been to the new shop yet.

I see today on the internet that Canada, as well as the U.S., Australia, N. Zealand, and Britain, have advised travellers to stay away from Bangkok since those bombs went off. I guess Mat is already on his way, and I supposed there will be a hint of danger in the air of Bangkok, but I expect he will have a really good time and have lots of tales to tell when he gets home. As long as he stays sober, watches what he's doing, and avoids trouble, he should be fine.
