Coastal Cruiser meeting September 13

Bill, it was discussed at last nights meeting that as a "snowbird" down in Florida, you should try and attend a Florida Cruiser Clubs meeting, if there is one around there.
So start shaking hands and kissing babies, or is it kissing hands and shaking babies? I always get that mixed up.

They don't 4 wheel much around here, they ride swamp boats and troll fer gaters. Farther up north, into Georgia, they actually have hills and can climb them.

-The meeting was a smashing sucsess with Mike Mc-t being shut out on the raffel, first time for everything

- Meeting started at 8:20

-Guests include an old freind of the club; Lisa Stevenson with partner Ed driving Lisa's V-8 FJ40

-In attendance were, Rod Mc-d, Jeff, Matt, Kim, Norm, Sopel, Rob, Drew, Steve-T, Paul, Rob-M, Steve and Gary-T

-First order of Biusiness - Cruiser days; it was unanamasly agreed that the location of Deas Island Park was great and that we will have it there next year as well.

It was also agreed that the Lions club did a fantastic job of catering the event and that we would try and secure them to do the same next year.

Rob M will get in touch with James who offered his services to update our website to todays standards and then put him in touch with Drew who will help him with the logisics of the project.

It was also decided that we need better exposure prior to the event to create larger numbers of participants both in attendace of Cruiser owners and vendors as well as media
to this end i have a contact person in the events cordination buisness and will contact him and see what ideas he has for us.

An earlier date was picked for next years Cruiser Day & Trail Ride witch will be July 19th 2008.

- C.C. Cristmas Party - A date of December 8th. was picked and the location will be at the Elephant and Castle in Richmond pending availability, Rob M. will check with them for availability on this date and report back.

- Upcoming runs - nothing was decided for the next month, waiting for Bill to get back and crack the whip

- Raffle - Winners were; Paul, Ed, Lisa, Steve T, Steve, Kim, Rod and Sopel.

- Meeting adjourned sometime after 10:00PM

-Next Meeting - October 11 2007 at Steve's shop.

What's that? Norm was there? Norm who? I wanted to ask him about those groupies following him...And Mike got shut out of the raffle? Dang, I wanted to see that!
Anyway, you were supposed to call the meeting to order at 7:50 but that's OK.
Re the Xmas Party, I will phone Clint Boodoosing and check it out. I hope the pool tables are recovered from the decrepit condition they were in last year. That's the only reason I lost that stupid 8-ball game to Millson anyway.
And Jadwiga and Reina were no-show? I'll bet the Phantom put the "make" on them in the parking lot and scared them off with his Polish Sasquach mating calls.
Jesus, I go out of town for a couple of days and everything falls apart.
So the meeting report gets a B minus owing to spelling errors, lack of detail and syntax. If you edit it, correct the errors, and post it again, I'll consider revising the mark.

Eh? for effort!
My grandson's report card now shows "A" as the low grade, respresenting Unsatisfactory Standing, although they don't fail kids anymore. It also denotes "E" as the top grade, I guess indicating Excellence. Now, as for you, young Millson, I am willing to change your grade to B Plus, considering your effort and the new grading system, however I am unsure what "B" stands for these days, possibly Bullshoot or maybe Bloodshot. Congratulations and keep up the good wonk! We all love ya.

Just because you're out of school now, RedReefer, doesn't mean that we're still not watching you! We're still grading your progress, evaluating your emerging skills, comparing your standing with your peers, judging your conduct, and expecting much better performance in the next semester. So you better shape up and always use those jack stands, eye goggles and hard toed boots. You better wash those hands real good and no more picking your nose in public areas. You better do right by that little girl friend of yours and not get so impatient when she mistakes your Robertson for your Phillips. Steve keeps his washroom cleaner than you did with the LCI shop. Steve changes his dad's flat tires, although you did take your dad for dinner on his birthday. You see, young Millson, you'll never lose us teachers, we'll always be with you: watching, waiting, listening, expecting, judging, reporting, evaluating, comparing for the rest of your life. Even when we're long gone, we are still in your brain. So, that said, go out and get a real job, keep your nose clean and other bodily orfices, and be kind to small animals.

Don't forget to have a shower first, wash your hair, clean your fingernails real good, and don't be late! Failure to comply will be dealt with severely, we know where you live.
