Cheers,

Can someone bring an extra chair? I'm flying in for doctors appointments that day and I'd like to come by too.

-The Clear Creek hot springs day run will be Saturday, January 20. Depart Harrison East FSR 10:00 a.m. sharp. See Dan’s thread here on Mud. Vehicles need good winter tires and tow hooks. Dress warmly, it will be very cold up there with deep snow. Coastal Cruiser CB radio uses channel 4, and our VHF frequency is 147.5500 MHz.
The RCMP Chilliwack frequency is 140.415 and the Kent-Harrison Search and Rescue is
149.525 and 148.685 MHz.

-Long Weekend camping tentative plans are: May to Quesnel Canyon, July to Mud Lakes, August to Whipsaw, and Labour Day to Harrison.
-Other weekend run possibilities are Boston Bar Plateau/Nahatlach, Harrison, Kootnenays, and Walker Valley in Washington State.

-CRUISER DAYS. The committee of Rod McD, Marcin C, Matt R, Rob M, and Bill W will start planning soon. Possible locations are Deas I. Park, Lafarge Town Center in Coquitlam, also an area up Pipeline Road, and the usual Surrey site. The most important thing is for EVERYBODY to do a better job of getting the word out to get a good crowd attending. The committee will get back to us in the February 8 meeting.

CC Membership dues coming up, bring your $25. Dues to the February 8 meeting.

-NOMINATIONS for club officers were discussed and it looks like the present status will continue by acclamation: President SteveT, Vice President Rod McD, Treasurer Rob M, and Membership Coordinator Bill W. If you still wish to put your name forward, please do so this month, otherwise this will stand.

Drew E volunteered to act as our delegate for the TLCA phone meetings. Thanks Drew.

-Raffle prizes: Rod McD won the huge screwdriver set and will buy next month’s prizes. Dan M won the hatchet mini tool, Wayne I won the safety harness belt, and Jeff S won the shirt.
The meeting broke up about 10:15 and everything was in deep freeze outside. Lucky thing Cruiser door locks are all worn out, otherwise nobody would have been able to unlock their frozen doors. The streets of Port Moody were deserted since nobody in their right mind would be out driving in that weather anyway. A good time was had by all.

Mine work, sort of, they froze at the Spike. I had to use the old lighter on key trick to get in my truck.

hey...there were 2 other prizes as well..the Winchester multi tool gift box sets (2 of 'em), I dont know who won them. I still can't believe the Toyota TRD shirt went last...that was a 50 dollar shirt...looks good on me tho!
