Clutches, what do you like. (1 Viewer)

@caz and @Pacer were asking about clutches. I will be needing one for my 1uzfe project. I was leaning Marlin crawler since I would like a stock feel but need somthing that will hold 250hp and 250lbft. I'm a little scared of the high preformance clutches I would expect a harsh engagement not ideal for crawling.

I would love to hear from others what you like and have experience with.

I wouldn't be too afraid of a higher HP holding clutch. I have a Southbend clutch behind the 6BT in my 80 that is rated to 850ft lbs and it engages very smooth. The only thing to consider is higher pressure clutches will result in a higher foot pressure feel. My clutch feels like a truck, not a car.

R150f. I couldn't find a r151f so I had to settle. I going to attempt to make a bastard hybrid bellhousing.
