Hello there - I tried to clean up (hone a tiny bit) of the clutch master to stop a leak inside my cab and pooling at my feet, but it didn't work.

I checked the FJ25 forums (because they have a part numbers sticky) but am not sure if that number will be the same on my 63 FJ45 SWB.

Do you guys know what the part numbers are for:

1. Clutch Master Cylinder

2. Clutch Master Cylinder Rebuild Kit

Thanks much,

Dallas

Dallas-

My clutch master started leaking shortly after I began driving it. It had been replaced with a slightly newer one (9/66-6/70 I think  ) but had an adapter to make the hose fitting work. The one I replaced it with from NAPA is now leaking too. I'm going to replace it again then get rid of the adapter by using a banjo fitting from a brake wheel cylinder connected to a custom hardline.

I know, not really the answer you were looking for. There are plenty of guys here with REAL knowledge so I'll just shut up now...

OK not quite yet... did I mention I ordered a beck/arnley rebuild kit to fix the one I pulled out? Kragen... $20.

if you have the early master, I dont think that one will work.

And as far as replacing, I would skip replacing individual components and just get all new parts. update to 10mm fittings, common and cheaper parts, and ones you can easily get rebuild parts for in the future.

I think CCOT and SOR have kits.

I just called my local NAPA parts store and they are giving me:

CENTRIC CLUTCH part number 13644411, as the correct clutch master for 62-66 Land Cruisers.

It is 80 dollars and I am trying to verify if it's the right one before ordering.

See ya,

Dallas

Any update on this? Did you ever try ordering that part number?
