Clutch foot pedal movement

Is it normal to have side to side movement in the pedal assembly under the dash? It works fine just wondering about all the free play side to side. I just thought it would be more rigid like the brake pedal assembly under.

Probably missing/worn out bushings. two little bushing that go in with the bolt thru. Thank you for the info! I will check this weekend.
My bet is missing, as this resto has been full of little shortcomings like this. Since it’s at the pivot point this should be easy to spot.
