Hello all, I got 98 Lexus lx 470, so I did suspension conversion using land cruiser OEM torsion bars, springs, my measurements between center hub and fender 19.5 inches. Problem is I got clunk now in a reverse with wheels turned, also if I go uphill and turn I hear CV axle clunking mostly on right turns (left CV axle brand new OEM) When I looked underneath looks like my CV axles sitting on angle compare to my Tacoma truck. It kinda hard to see on pic but they have decent angle. Is that will cause the problem? I need diff drop or something? How your axles look when it's in normal hight? Thanks in advance.

A singular clunk? Or clunking/clicking ?
Clicking as the wheel rotates click click click lol it's definitely sounds like axles but like I said one is new OEM other one good condition.

Yeah, CVs. Probably not that great condition and the small change in ride height perpetuated the problem. Also the traditional springs and shocks don't stay as flat under Accel/brake so new wear patterns emerge on the CV
