People have been asking via the banner for Cruiser Days thats been on BC4x4 for a bit now, why there is no link to the clubs site for more info.

I replied that our site needs to be updated, which I think at the last meeting someone was going to do? I can draw, email, and post pic's and video on a computer, but that web s***e is beyond me.

So what's the update? Git 'er done! :hillbilly:

Sure, but let me ask you, the club members this first then;

What would you like to see or change on our current site? Aside from the obvious fixings such as the current meeting place.

Do we want to be able to log in so we can access those fancy tabs that would link to meeting minutes etc etc..or would that all be in this forum? ( I suppose it could all cross reference)

I like the photo archive Gary has made, but with so many on there now its kind of cumbersome to poke around. Perhaps have some thumbnail type folders that appear on one page to make it easier to browse?

Any other bright ideas?

Once updated, we should get that site to TLCA, so they can post the link on their web page, cause right now, it still goes to that little blurb from like 10 years ago.
Cheers,
Deny

I don't have the time for regular updating, but I can set up anyone to do that. A better thumbnailing program, and some other software goodies would be easy to get up as long as it's pre packaged. With people using flicker, almost nobody posts images even thou it's easy, and has the full image there for download for those that want to print. I was actually thinking of taking it down because I though no-one cared :(

We dont really need regular updates, minutes and crap like that can be done here on mud.
Flickr etc is so only so good until you fill up your free allowable limits, and it is nice to have a dedicated club page with pics.
You mentioned that its easy to post images to the club site, how exactly do we do that?

And we do care, we are just generally lazy I think.
