Club trip and Meeting notes

The Club trip this month will be to Lefthand Cyn.
We will be leaving the Loveland downtown Safeway at 9:00am on you there!
We will not be doing the clean up on Crystal Mtn this year, as the state will not allow anyone (including the Forest Service) to cross through a short stretch of road which has a private lease to enter public lands.In other words CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN IS CLOSED INDEFINATLY!!.

There is a meeting tonite from 4:00 to 7:00 re: "the Elk Horn Project" which includes closing over 20 miles of trail on Bald Mtn. Everyone is encouraged to attend! for infomation on the project go to their website at http://www.fs.fed.us/mepa/fs-usda-pop.php/?project=36154

Damn Commirado strikes again, pretty fed up with what is going on in this state these days. It's not the same place I grew up and not where I want to raise my kid.

Anyways what is the date for the Left Hand trail run?

Commirado - , sounds about right. I think the whole country is not the same as what I was born and raised in. Everything is done with backwards and upside down thinking. I think the problem lies with the lack of honesty in some politicians, whether with the public or to themselves.

We need this Crystal Mountain trail situation to lobby with tons of $$$$ in order to correct this.
