What was the part # for the bulbs in the climate control? Also looking for part # for bulbs behind the speedo and rpm. I figure if Im gonna take it out to replace 1 bulb I might as well replace them all. what bulbs are used for the P,R,N,D, etc lights. I have a few lights out in the radio as well, anyone??

Thank you!!! Exactly what I was looking for.

Not sure the brand just the T4/4.2 ones from Amazon. Is there a specific brand I should use?

Backlights and slit lights are different. Backlights (3) are easy replaceable. Slit lights are LED's in different colours and a lower voltage.

Does anyone have the specs for these slit-leds? I want to put in some brighter ones.

post 23 above shows the leds as 3mm soldered (12 green and 2 yellow).
I’m sure you can find brighter ones in the right voltage range.

I’ve had good luck with the bulbs here:

did you ever find out the part # for the backlight bulbs on the climate control? about to rip my dash apart to replace the 3 and dont want to get there and have to wait days for the right bulbs

I don't remember the partnumbers. Car is in a different country so unfotunately I cannot check. Replacing the bulbs is not an issue. Removing and installing the control panel part of the dash is less than 15 minutes.
Replacing the lichts for the individual knobs need soldering. As I remember correctly the backlight bulbs are easy to replace, no soldering.

I was able to pull apart the dash to get to it after unplugging all the small things above like antenna and rear glass heater, cannot for the life of me unplug the back wires even when pressing in the clip on the side i’m terrified of yanking those is there a trick i’m missing?

The big connectors yuo sure have to press the clip and then they should come off. You could try with a flat screwdriver on the small side of the connector to wiggle a bit, if you just get some play in it, it might be easier to pull them out.

However, if I remember correctly, you don't need to do this to replace the backlights.

Seriously, with my ham fists and sausage fingers, these things are a godsend for any of those hard to reach multi-pin connectors. You can grab the connector right on the release tab, squeeze, give it a bit of a wiggle and it comes right apart.
