By the time you're finished, your youngest will be old enough for Social Security. Fix the brakes and we can run on #1 or #10 if you're chicken. Drive shafts? I gotta guy on Western and Berteau who's quick and cheap. Search for the thread 4Rnr posted about the guy in Northbrook for the alignment. Should take you all of a week to get it done. Are you gonna need my ghetto fab bleeder?

I'm locker shopping now but prolly won't get it until after summer. You don't see me whining about it do you? Aussie locker has em for $260. (Yes, I'm a cheap bastid!)

You don't have to twist my arm so tight!

Is this gonna be on the 4th? I'm gonna be in Phils neighborhood on the 3rd so I can't make it that day...4th is good for me!

Hi all,
It's the 4th. I'll plan to be there at 9:30. I haven't gotten the Pinzgauer to commit, he prefers the 3rd. Either way I'll be there, sounds like we got ourselves a good group and I'm looking forward to seeing some old and new faces-- I'll be there in my 80, with my sliders, lockers and Staun Beadlocked 33"s, and two kids.
Hope to see you all, thanks for responding!

as will I and a 60 and a 4runner.

Unfortunately the Pinz can go Saturday but not Sunday. I'm still planning to be there Sunday, however those who wanna see a funky German 4x4 in the flesh will have to wait.
Has anyone been to Cliffs lately, whats the river like?

I'm out this weekend completely. I need to be at work Sunday morning by 7:30am. I hate working with a hangover.

Just pull up behind the Dunkin' Donuts with the rest of the squad cars and take a little nap.

Tell dispatch that you're code 5 for the rest of the shift.

I'd love to do that but I'll be directing traffic near Soldier Field for the Police Memorial service. It's a yearly event and it my unit's turn in the barrel. Breakfast will be Advil with a Maalox chaser.

I just looked at the weather in marseilles-- lots of rain. I'm not keen on taking my 80 through an epic mud-fest, although I'll deny saying that under penalty of ejection from the Man club. What are the other attendees planning-- 4rnr, your group is just taking a part-day spin around 10, to exercise some new engines?

I'm considering trying again in late May early June, my neighbor really wants to go and it's hard for me to drop my responsibilities for two fun weekends that close together.

I'd take my 4runner but the clutch finally gave up (still drivable on the road, but any resistance like 4wheeling and it slips terrible) and I was too lazy this winter to get off my a-- and swap in a new clutch (which I have, along with a heavier flywheel, sitting on my bench).

There's a slight chance of rain this far south tonight, a good chance tomorrow, and maybe more on Saturday. Any big rain and the cliffs will be a muddy, nasty mess. No place for street tires.

I'll be testing lockers, so it might work well for me.

I will be there rain or shine. Ive got 2 guys who have never wheeled and are in new trucks. (no ricky your virginity grew back). One fj60 on 33's, arbs, and a winch. and a 88 runner on 33's.

So I was thinking a quick (hopefully) shot around maybe #1. I havenet been on 1 in at least a year. and then depending on how they are feeling maybe 10, maybe down hill 7... who knows. Iam up for anything this side of "land cruiser" or #8. But its up to the green horns.

Like gumby said if it rains good and there is no sun or wind to dry it up. It can get damn scary on street tires. All terrains are better. But between me and gumby we should have no issues getting you out of anything.

Im not looking to go nuts just putz around.

BTW Kenton are you the same guy I wheeled with a few years back at the badlands.

I really wanna join you guys-never wheeled yet, but looks like I won't be able to make it, sorta promised some buddies I'd go to the Beer at the Pier saturday.
4rnr-would've been a great opportunity for me to tag along with your two friends who've never wheeled either.
Hoping some of you will get some great pics.

You wouldn't have enjoyed yourself at all Anthony. What you'll miss is 4Rnr doing a lot of bench wheeling and a tour of the parking lot.

Well come on my 4runner is still a babie, Everyone starts somewhere.:flipoff2:
