Cleaning your carburetor

So I'm here in Ecuador waiting for my carburetor rebuild kit to get here from the USA. But after doing some research on the web on how to clean the carburator I see that in the USA they use Chem Dip to remove the dirt.

I know that we don't have this product here in Ecuador so my question to all your experts is what do I use that is equal to Chem Dip

I use any brand carb cleaner and a toothbrush. I've never felt like I needed more than that

you can let it soak in gasoline.
