There's also the potential leak caused by warped cable covers located at the front corners of the drain pan. Some people have replaced the covers with new parts, I used a heat gun to flatten them out a bit then sealed the low edge of the pan where they attach using some 3M strip caulk. FWIW.

3/16" Drill bit at arms length works well too...
I gave up on the sunroof drains after cleaning them over and over again so I used sealer around the sunroof and disconnected the switches so it couldn't be opened. I don't use the sunroof and feel I use it more for light than wind so its no longer used!
