Clean that AC / Heater Blower

Some stainless mesh on the underside would be useful, too. Rodents are persistent - ask me how I know

Man I was all up in there and I don’t see an easy way to install anything from below. Is everyone removing the upper cowl to install this stuff?

To get to the HVAC system air intake "tower" from the top you would have to remove the cowl (remove both wiper arms first then 6 screws using a small 1/4" ratchet) then remove the plastic grills. Here's Outsane's video showing the cut he made during the design-build process for the filter. If you have thick arms/hands it's a bit difficult to reach into that area via a factory opening but doable.

I’ve been getting a loud noise when turn on the heat and I definitely have some leaves in the front cowl probably but that’s a different cleaning task. I also know I have a mouse somewhere. I removed the three torx screws and found this, not too bad I thought.

I stuck my camera down under and found a masterpiece. Screwdriver is there for scale.
