Reminder: Bring CASH.

All drivers will need to pay $30 per day of wheeling, plus a $10 fee for annual membership if you haven't done that in the last year.

Once you pay for your daily wheeling and the annual $10 membership fee, don't forget at the end of your wheeling day to drop by the office and pick up your plasticated membership card. If the office is closed, check the next morning as you pay for the second day. They are usually kept in a small box by a teller window.

Enjoy. Take pics for me!

Sorry, Gary, aka fellow Old Fart®, it takes a while after you have toes lopped off and reattached. I'm out for the season. Now be a good fellow and take pics for me!

Caravan Tomorrow Morning?

I'll be leaving the D.C. area tomorrow morning and am planning to get to RC by 8:00 am. I'll probably leave my house sometime between 4:15 and 4:30.

Is anyone interested in caravaning?

I'll be headed up 270 to Rt 15 North into PA. Then to 81. Andrew (fjman) and I are planning on driving up together. I think Bob and Burl are heading up at the same time.

If anyone has a suggestion for a meeting place and time for the caravan, post it up. Or we can just try to get in touch on cell phones and catch each other on our way up 270.

Dan, Dale, and I frequently meet at the McDonalds in Thurmont.

Thurmont sounds good to me. That's just a few miles north of where you get off of 270 and onto route 15 in Frederick, for those who don't know.

What time?

7:00 should work. As I recall it's about 1 1/2 hours from Thurmont to RC.

7:00 it is, at the McDonalds in Thurmont. It's right off of Rt 15, heading north just a couple miles past Frederick.

Details provided by Bob:

Mickey Ds in Thurmont. I think it's the first Thurmont exit (hwy 77), but I'm not sure. If you crest a hill before the exit and see Mickey Ds and a Shell station to your right as you come down the exit ramp you made the right choice.

For anyone that needs to get a hold of me tomorrow morning or on Saturday, my cell is two 4 zero, nine ninety-seven, nine two, forty-four

I plan on heading up Friday afternoon and hope to be there 6-7ish to camp that night. See you all there! :)

Sorry you won't make it Dale, Gary and I will have to carry the load in your absence and Dan's.

See you guys at mickey d's.

We missed you Jeff. You might have saved me and Brother Burl from the Woodford.

It was great to meet everyone, had a great time wheeling with you guys.
