At this point, totally playing devils advocate. Very happy to have a V8 powered Solid Front Axle rig.

And before this all gets moved to the B.S. thread due to a massive hijack........

AWESOME snow run guys. Sorta glad I couldn't make it. ;) I'm definitely ready for some nice warm springtime wheeling.

Did I mention there was a lot of snow?

And that it was cold?

And that the snow was cold when you slipped and fell in the snow, while you were attaching tow straps or setting a winch anchor?

And, honestly--how many of us TRULY appreciate the effectiveness of the rear passenger heater in the 80-Series?

But that SFA Cherokee was going so fast, I couldn't get the camera powered-on in time to get the shot (can you spot the Cherokee?)!

AWESOME PICS!!!

Looks like a fun run - wish I could've made it. Didn't even get to go skiing, been dog sick with the flu all weekend :(

Looks like everyone had a great time. BUT after seeing the pictures and reminiscing about our Shlaugherhouse gulch stuck fest I remember that I'm good waiting for spring to go out Wheeling!

I wasn't going to bing that up or the other one where Fitz's baby almost ran out of milk. They both sounded rough and I still have something going on with the steering that I haven't corrected. Figured that would be the last place I would want to work on a broken down truck.

Dave, Hailey, and I drove the Blazer and the -40 to China Wall and had a beautiful, sunny, warm day in the woods, not even needing to wear coats. I'm really happy for you guys who burrowed into the snow drifts, though. We played on the rock pile a bit and had lunch by the creek, as usual. Here are a few pics of the rigs.
