In 2004, I spent part of my time as a reporter for a local paper. I wrote an article about CottonLand and attended a wrenching session out at Bodean's. I don't have a scan of the article yet, but I thought I'd share some pics:

That guy in the last picture pulled me over about 6 years ago at the Krystal at Jacksonian Plaza.

He scared me...

Sure do miss that guy in the red 4runner! Thanks for those pic Spivey!

No Cam, that's "Cruiser Jesus"

What an awesome group that was! I suppose that's about the same time i met ya'll. Wow! this may be my longest relationship.

Cam, I didn't even notice the thumbs down until I posted it, and now I can't figure out how to get rid of it. It's a newb mistake. Def. not a reflection on having known this bunch of guys for almost 6 years.

How many years ago?
I am amazed at the changes in my 40 sence hooking up with this group.
One day I will finish the efi project and wheel again.

For those of us who haven't been around since the beginning, there are folks in there I don't know. Of course I know J.O., Lash, and Jeff on the front. And I know Heath and Greg up top, but someone step in and identify the others and tell us where are they now?

Good times right there. Thanks for posting, sfs.

Brian (clutchee) and Ashley(hitchedtocluchee) on top right
John Abbot on top left. Jeff's step dad. He went on most of our early trail rides and always cooked breakfast for us. He was a really good guy to be around and fit in with us even though he was twice most of our age. He past away a little more than a year ago.

I can't remember the guy's name in the tundra. He is from Natchez and has a pretty clean 40, IIRC.

Remember when Dearborne started calling me Osama Bin Greg at the roundup that year?

Peter Jackson was apart of Cottonland Cruisers !!! I guess thats where he got the look for the hobbits in Lord of The Rings!

No doubt he was first.

I remember seeing b's truck for the first time at capitol sports. I had never seen sliders in person, thought they were sooo cool. His 33's looked friggen huge to me for a wagon. He and ashley were loading their 55 onto a double axle utility trailer that was about 8' off the ground and had to weigh 10K pounds. I don't know how the 60 pulled it.

Good times. Good times.

No doubt! I remember Brian trashing the running boards on Ashley's 80 at the first MLK run and then the 1st ever Cruiser Crawl seeing it with sliders and I stayed under that rig for almost an hour in awe of the awesome sliders... I had seen them but never on an 80.
