put me down....40 is together and ready, with a new front axle...

have the bitch seat open as of now, just remember that I usually roll to that side...(new harnesses installed tho, so yer safer....hehe)

someone needs to post up camping locations and such in the next week so I don't get any more lost than I already am....

Gues I'll take that seat Woody. My buddy is a general contractor and has jobs all over the place from Austin down to the border.

He said that he would come but that guy is always w/ a lot of work and I doubt that he can make it.

A 4WD that actu'ly runs ... maybe you should buy one. :flipoff2:

:flamingo:

I have consider selling the 40 and buying one. My kids want not one, they want two.

As usual, my wife is not very supportive when it comes to buying toys not even for the Boys je! je!

mike Is this the place that everybody stays in?

When our fearless leader book his spot he claimed that there was only one of them rooms available

Hmmm, Let's compare...

Kowboy posted;
"Clayton Country Inn ... (918) 569-4165." :bounce:

vs.

I posted;
"Clayton Country Inn ...... 1-918-569-4165" :bounce2:

Purdy sure they'd be the same place JP :hillbilly:

I have no idea where everyone stays or how many rooms they have available. May try calling the fella tho.... Do ya need the number? :hmm:

See ya there

got it sir! my mistake.

after I wrote the darn question I remember something from Kowboy from the first page.

Keep in mind before I go to this places, which I don't know where they are,

I have to make sure that I am going to the same direction that you all are going.

Thanks again!

No worries brother.... just screwing with ya ... and Woody too :)

Head outta Clayton towards the State Park and it's 'bout a mile and a half on the left up on a hill.

It's a hotel (which had only one room available when I started this thread) and an RV park. There was nobody reserved in the RV park when I started this thread.

I would suggest calling the Folks to see availability and make a reservation ... which is why I started this thread.

you're funny Sir! I am sure in that area there's just that one hill, right? je! jE!

What's the name of the state park?

I called earlier and they said they have 2 available, # 3 double and #8 2 doubles.

I spoke w/ my buddy too and his jeep is no better than my cruiser. He said something about the float in the carb messing up. so we are w/out something to wheel.

I called his brother to lend us his 4wheeler. I want to take something to wheel even if is not a cruiser or heep.

I am camping out either in the truck, or in the tent that I bought at the round up

how cold does it get in that area?

I don't want to freeze again!

I just called and reserved me an RV spot, man said all motel rooms are booked, sorry JP.

So now we got:

Me and Debbie ... with Cruiser
Daryl and Sherry ... with Cruiser
Josh ... with Prowler
4 Fellas from Arkansas ... with 4 Cruisers
Fireman and friends ... with 2 rigs
Greg Sadler ... with mini/buggy (Saturday only)
Woody ... with Cruiser
Roger ... with Cruiser
JP ... maybe with boyfriend ... no Cruiser ... no jeeper ... maybe 4 wheeler ... if'n he can find the joint.

Probables:

Mike Costello ... no rig
Dusty/Tommy ... with Cruiser
Jason H. ... with Cruiser (Saturday and Sunday only)

Maybes:

The Dixons ... with 4 Runner
Charles ... with buggy
Shirley ... with Cruiser ... unlikely since he didn't fix it

:flamingo:

I'm in for sure.... had to confirm Deb's travel plans for that following week. I'll have to leave Sunday morning to get back and take her to the airport.

No 40 this trip so I'll need a seat. Kowpoke ya gonna have room for the sleeper thingy? I may just bring a sleeping bag and a tent heater and that thing out.....

Small change but it seems we are striving for accuracy.....

now 4 Fellas from Arkansas...with 3 Cruisers

Richard, Michael, and Darren will be bringing their rigs. Steve will be along to drive the big rig to Clayton and will ride right seat this weekend... Oh, and the weather is looking GREAT BTW! Can't wait!:steer:

does any body have any 40 stock front springs that is willing to get rid of them?

I need a pair for my spring over in the front.

Kowboys what's the name of the State park you're talking about?

I was really looking forward to this run but I am out. The contractor Southern FWDA hired to do the independent environmental studies at Tellico needs a guide and transportation on the hard trails and wants to start on the 16 th.
