So me and Debbie follered Josh back to his trailer at the Horse Ranch while the rest of the group went up and out on Rock Creek. Since Debbie was doin' all the shootin' with the camera ... ain't got no pics of that part of the day.
Bryan was in camp at the Inn when we got there and went with Josh to track down Slim in town to get the blown outer removed. They had fits but got 'er done and Josh rebuilt 'er in camp for the next day.
Speakin' of the next day ... ain't got no pics of that neither since Debbie forgot the friggin' camera.
But ...
Joined by Dusty/Tommy, Bryan, and the Dixons we had a great time runnin' some familiar trails in Green Acres like Wet-N-Wild, Jeff's Ledges, and Cakewalk. Small group of big trucks made for a DAMN fine day of wheelin'.
Bryan's buggy, of course, made us all look stupid ...
The Dixon's argued their way ... while the mini fought it's way ... over the trails ... sportin' a hideous paint job and plenty of NOS drinks for the publicity shots ...
Dusty put on his traditional BIG show with the awesome horsepower and suspension of The Grape Ape ...
Daryl had to break his rear driveshaft just so he'd feel like he was wheelin' ...
Roger did great in the "little" truck of the group ... managing to keep up very well ... while only breakin' the passenger hub.
Josh went ahead and broke the outer on the driver's side also ... but did a trail repair and kept goin' ... sometimes runnin' on a few cylinders shy of a half-dozen though ...
When the rock dust settled ... we were all sittin' 'round a huge Daryl-built bonfire ... tryin' to eat our way thru enough food for an army ... and drink ourselves silly ...
And there's more to come on Sunday ...
