OK Folks, who's coming? Sherry wants to try and pre-cook a couple of meals and would like a rough idea of the size of this mottley crew. Can't leave all the work to Roger now can we? We need to keep him free to fix our junk right? :eek:
 
I am planning on being there if we get enough for a ride and someone that knows the trails, it's a 720 mile trip for me so if I make it I want to get in a couple days of riding.

So far I think we have you, Kowboy, Fireman, Big Country, and Sherry and I. I think three of my local buds are going to come along but they are only planning on bringing one rig (my old one). Don't know about some of the others that rode last year like Fro, Josh, Stan, Dusty, etc. That was such a great ride I can't believe we don't have more ready to chime in! I checked the 10 day forecast and the weather looks like it is going to be great. Come on folks!!!
 
I hate myself for having a big mouth but guess no matter how much I plan. When it's not meant to be, it just not going to happen. Boss wants me to go to New York but I guess that's out too.

Yesterday morning an Idiot hit my wife and two kids.

He claimed that he did not see them. Wife went for a walk w/ the kids early in the morning. The oldest walking and little one on stroller.The idiot came behind them and hit them. Luckily he was not going to fast and he was able to stop before he really woud run over them

When I found out I was terrified. Went to hospital and kids had a couple scratches only but they were very scared. Wife got the worst part, she got scratches and a lot muscle pains on her left side. Thank God nobody had broken bones or head fractures. Wife needs to be in bed for at least a week.Hopefully next time I can make it.
 
Holy crap JP! Sorry to hear about that. How did you keep from killing the guy? Hope they recover quickly and the kids get over the shock of it all...

Dusty and Tommy should be up 'round noon on Friday.

Maybe find out somethin' from Josh tomorrow ... maybe not.

No word from the Dixons.

Tough call Roger ... long drive for damn sure.

I am still trying to digest that in my head. As it is, I am always upset about something from work, and Now home and the week it's just begining.

Don't be surprised if I show up on Friday morning w/ goal in mind to get drunk, Wait a minute, I believe this is the goal of this gig.

Kids are back to normal but wife still in pain.

I'll be there 5ish friday afternoon. Talked to james and he said he was coming up thursday or friday. Roger, we'll definitely get one good day of wheeling in on saturday so it'll be worth the trip.

he's just a very busy man and dislikes bein' interrupted. :eek:

He ain't goin' to Clayton and he does have a wife named Deb ... and she ain't goin' to Clayton neither.

Josh is fixin' the Rokbus tomorrow and comin' up with Debbie and I on Thursday. :bounce2::cheers::bounce2:

We'll go into Green Acres on Saturday with knowledgeable guides and a packed lunch for a full day of wheelin' (at least by White Trash standards :D)

Friday we can run the trails Josh and I know in Green Acres or go and run 3-Stages and Rock Creek like we did last year. Whatever the majority wants. :cool:

... and we'll be drinkin' a buttload of beer. :beer:

I already asked my wife to be excuse from home this coming weekend.

She just rolled her eyes but she didn't say no, so there's a chance!

She's a tough cookie. she's getting better and walking, slow but she'll get there.
