I've been searching for a solution, reading various threads, but have not come across what I'd like to do. I'm sure its a simple custom and I have some ideas, but if anyone has already done it, I'd like to hear about it.

I'd like to creat a quick curtain when the clam shell is open. Reason, I travel with three daughters and sometimes nature calls at odd moments. I'd like to put up a "pottie shield" for those moments when there is not room for such a thing up front. Has anyone done something like this?:o

Buy a tent, then you could add this:

Boy, when I saw that, it went to the top of my "toy" list. But what I need is something I can put up in a hurry during roadside pottie breaks. I'm leaning towards velcro strips on the upper hatch to attach a trimmed sheet that will be secured to the bottom. When nature call is over, pull it off and away we go.

Anyone done something like that?

I have the Explorer 2 Truck Tent I sometimes use on my LX and it is pretty fast to set up. But I would think you could just run a rectangular cloth sheet, similar to the shape of the blue area on my tent that velcros to the top hatch (or perhaps use magnets). The ends could clip onto the rear seatbelts or hatch struts. The bottom could be slightly weighted so it doesn't blow up in the wind.

You know, I did not even think about magnets, much cleaner than adding velcro anchor spots.

Thanks for that tip!

Do their future husbands a favor and teach them to use natural cover. :grinpimp:

Knowing them now, they'll have no problem training their future callers. Men are dumb, we always think we're in charge when really, we hate to admit we aint.

The set up I'm trying to create is something to use while on the road.
