Dec 6, leave Sooke A&W by 8:30am. Head West from there.

Original Text:

Just to observe ideal trees of course.

I'm thinking of heading out past Sooke somewhere next weekend (Dec 6th, 7th). Anyone want to join? Might get a little wheeling and exploration in.

I'm up Nitinat area Camping, but if anyone's interested in swinging by they're more than welcome. I'll be by tuck lake

Always a next time! Never been, but sounds like a pretty nice spot from the sounds of it

Bahaha.... For a second there I thought you were talking about Calgary being a nice place.... Clearly not. Too funny.

Have a good time at Tuck.

Hey guys, sure lets do Saturday. Could aim to leave the Sooke A&W at 8:30am? I don't envision any really rough wheeling on this run; need to stick to roads that are roof rack friendly. But would be cool to check out some new areas with of course some nice trees to *look* at.

Guys, I'm really sorry, but I'm going to have to bail. I've come down with a super nasty bug and have been laid out all day. Doubt I'll be much better tomorrow.

Also not sure it matters but I'm not heading to tuck anymore, up in that area but unsure where. So if you planned on dropping by there won't be any beer there :P

Sorry to hear that, I may skip out too. Katie has school stuff to do and she wants to be part of the whole Christmas tree thing. I wouldn't want to pick out the wrong one:rolleyes:
How many others where actually thinking of going?

Lets find some snow and see how my new tires will grip..;)

That thing is awesome...

It really is pretty freggen cool, I will get some better pics next time I visit the NWF gang..

Thats not your 42 now is it Rob? :hillbilly::beer:

Got a little crazy with the zip discs, poor 42 will never be the same..:lol:

I can't imagine that thing is being built for this part of the world. Somewhere with no trees I'm guessing.

Front and rear steer axles will help a bit, but you are right, she will be a good rig for Moab..
