Chop saw group buy

I'm trying to get together a few folks for a group buy on a very nice metal chop saw. This is through one of my fellow Ga Cruiser Club members so here's the original post with a voting poll.

Regular price is $400. Not sure what the break will be until we get an idea of how many buyers. Need at least 6 buyers for starters.

$400? Um... no thanks. I'll stick with my DeWalt from Lowe's. That was pricey enough

Should change the title from chop saw to cold cut saw. Huge difference in price and performance.

Steve, I have a friend who's looking at buying that exact saw. Are you sitting on go for this? I think he's ready to pull the trigger.

I can't do anything right away; money is too tight currently. Also, I haven't found but one other person who wanted one so the possibility of a deal isn't too good at this point.

Nice find! That's as good a deal as I would've gotten after the group discount anyway. Too bad I don't have the dough to pick it up til after the Holidays though. Wonder if I can do layaway AND a military discount???
