This time we're gonna do it, we had to rearrange the schedule for River Rock but this time there are no obstacles short of getting there.

Aug 21--8:00 AM Meeting location: Akers Mill Shopping Center directly behind the Chic-Fil-A off Hwy 41 near Cumberland Mall
Google Maps

Chocco Daily Rate: $20 per driver $5 per passenger

We've never been there and this place looks pretty extreme but who cares, we're gonna check it out anyway. We always have open seats for passengers.

I'd do temper-pedic myself, or at least get a sleep number mattress so you can adjust the stiffness for trail conditions.

Well my drive home from John's this afternoon was very eventful, I lost my DS front tire turning onto Pleasant Hill off of Peachtree Industrial. It was quite surprising, but no one was hurt so it will all be ok. After checkin the rotor and hub, I sheered off 2 lug studs, but I have no clue why this all happened. The fender got the brunt of the damage, part of it got smashed when the truck fell down. I probably wont be driving my 80 at Chocoo next weekend though. If I dont get it fixed by next weekend, I will at least meet yall over there and ride with someone. Here are some pictures that my "princess in shining armor" took...

What the hell-- rotors are cheap and studs even cheaper but what happened. I'll be happy to assist one night if needed.

Im gonna call Toyota tomorrow about the studs and lug nuts, then im gonna go to Autozone about the rotor. Money is pretty tight this month so that would be the only thing to hold me back. I dont know what really happened. I looked at that wheel right after RiverRock and everything looked fine.

I have my old rotors that your welcome to as a temp fix if ya need them. Think smitty had his come off at one time also.

did anyone see the short write up in Peterson's 4x4? the trails look great. It is a small write up showing the hill climbs.

I didn't see it, gotta link to the article by chance? I know they had a big event out there last month, the same time we were supposed to go. There's a website called knucklebuster films i think that did a thing on them as well.

We made a visit out there earlier this year to look at it and it does look steep and rocky. We'll see if it's doable by anything other than a buggy, should be interesting.

We have open seats so feel free to come along.

no link. it is the latest one out on news stands. You might have to look at it in the store. It show some buggies on the hill climbs. looks fun.

Update:

Meeting at 8 AM at Galleria,

I'll update the first post just to eliminate any confusion.

It sure would be nice to see some new or old faces on occasion...
