you know gumby...cruiserheads hangin out every weekend working on toys together is how wclc started in the first place .
here's an early workshop day...if you look closely, you can see five cruisers stacked in steve hanson's bosses driveway...

Patride 71,What a small world, because I was filling up at that service station just as I saw your nice 60 sitting in the lot of the station. I actually went in the office to confirm my directions to the high school and asked if any cruiser fans were working there. I later talked to Gumby and he said he knew of that particular 60. Too bad you didn't have a chance to swing by after work because we were there pretty late. I would like to thank Gumby for being so patient with a newbie like me and teaching so much. Thanks to Ali for showing me the ropes, I hope that everything worked perfectly, because you told me that the brakes were kinda weak as we drove off.

archie
yeah i am pretty bummed about missing out on it. sounds like you got a lot out of it.
maybe we'll cross paths soon. i know there don't seem to be a lot of 60s or 62s on the roads around here....a few rustbuckets i have seen though.

by the way gumby, i am having mike at the shell put the pulley on for me. i am anxious about it though. it was more or less sheared in 1/2, so i am worried if any problems result with the crankshaft....

Archie,
My brakes are working again...after a mile or so. Regardless, I'll be ordering a set of pads today. I'm sure we'll be wrenching on your vehicle soon!
