Sounds good.

May catch yall later that day.

Sheila in Dallas, Lilly has to cheer around 11:30.

Damn! Another hunting day lost!

Damn! Another hunting day lost!

The only reason I hunt is to eat. The Cherokee is nice enough to kill the cow for the burger, the buffalo for the wings and the dough boy for the pizza.

Bossman and Bomar will be in the house.

Time to be determined.

The eating safari continues.

Saturday is red beans and rice day.
See yall there...

I like lunch. What are ya'll doing?

Red Beans and Rice

Dammit! I love me some red beaners and rice, and I just left Mississippi yesterday. How far is it from Austin to the Cherokee? 600 miles? In a 40 that's what....20 hours? 30 hours? Maybe if I leave tomorrow? :hhmm:

borrow the helicopter.

LOL. I don't have a death wish. The last time I flew a helo was in Biloxi, mid-80's, illegally, with my wife screaming at me to cut it out and land before I got us both arrested. I'm sure it would come right back to me, just like riding a bike. Yeah...Sure it would.

If that dude was playing horseshoes he would have been fine.

Ima shoot you if you come to MS again without giving a shout.

GT, it was a quickie trip. Flew to Gulfport. Rent car to Laurel. Pay property taxes and renew Cruiser plates. Leave next day.

Never fear, I need to come back and stay a couple of weeks. My yard looks like crap and there's still that hole in the roof that needs fixin'. And...I need some Mississippi porch sittin' therapy.

Where is this Cherokee and how far from Memphis?

I'll carpool down Saturday with anyone in the Memphis area, if there's something else going on like wrenching, wheeling, tire kicking, etc. or drinking beer. Any one, or combination of, those previously mentioned activities just might warrant driving 3 hours one way.

*edit* Are y'all driving your Land Cruisers there? If that's the case that counts as 'tire kicking' and I'll see what I can do to show up!
