so we went up to see how chehalis lake look after the slide. we went threw the mystery creek way. managed to get in at the end of the lake and get some pics. it was a pretty awesome site. the provincial camp grounds are wiped right out. so don't expect to camp there for a while.

Is there still the old landslide to go over via the mystery creek way? Not as much snow up there as I would have thought at this time of year.

My understanding from a post on BC4X4 is that Forestry is planning to gate Mystery Creek to keep people out of there. The governement thinks the probablity of another slide and wave is too high to have people in there: Chehalis Lake Tsunami - Page 4 - BB.BC4x4.COM.

mystery creek is clear one washout close to the lake but nothing major.
